اَلرَّحۡمٰنُۙ‏

Ar-Raĥmānu

The Most Merciful

٢

عَلَّمَ الۡقُرۡاٰنَؕ‏

Allama Al-Qur'āna

Taught the Qur'an

٣

خَلَقَ الۡاِنۡسَانَۙ‏

Khalaqa Al-'Insāna

Created man

٤

عَلَّمَهُ الۡبَيَانَ

Allamahu Al-Bayāna

[And] taught him eloquence

٥

اَلشَّمۡسُ وَالۡقَمَرُ بِحُسۡبَانٍۙ‏

Ash-Shamsu Wa Al-Qamaru Biĥusbānin

The sun and the moon [move] by precise calculation

٦

وَّالنَّجۡمُ وَالشَّجَرُ يَسۡجُدٰنِ

Wa An-Najmu Wa Ash-Shajaru Yasjudāni

And the stars and trees prostrate

٧

وَالسَّمَآءَ رَفَعَهَا وَوَضَعَ الۡمِيۡزَانَۙ‏

Wa As-Samā'a Rafa`ahā Wa Wađa`a Al-Mīzāna

And the heaven He raised and imposed the balance

٨

اَلَّا تَطۡغَوۡا فِي الۡمِيۡزَانِ

Allā Taţghaw Fī Al-Mīzāni

That you not transgress within the balance

٩

وَاَقِيۡمُوا الۡوَزۡنَ بِالۡقِسۡطِ وَلَا تُخۡسِرُوا الۡمِيۡزَانَ

Wa 'Aqīmū Al-Wazna Bil-Qisţi Wa Lā Tukhsirū Al-Mīzāna

And establish weight in justice and do not make deficient the balance

١٠

وَالۡاَرۡضَ وَضَعَهَا لِلۡاَنَامِۙ‏

Wa Al-'Arđa Wađa`ahā Lil'anāmi

And the earth He laid [out] for the creatures

١١

فِيۡهَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَّالنَّخۡلُ ذَاتُ الۡاَكۡمَامِۖ‏

Fīhā Fākihatun Wa An-Nakhlu Dhātu Al-'Akmāmi

Therein is fruit and palm trees having sheaths [of dates]

١٢

وَالۡحَبُّ ذُو الۡعَصۡفِ وَالرَّيۡحَانُۚ‏

Wa Al-Ĥabbu Dhū Al-`Aşfi Wa Ar-Rayĥānu

And grain having husks and scented plants

١٣

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

١٤

خَلَقَ الۡاِنۡسَانَ مِنۡ صَلۡصَالٍ كَالۡفَخَّارِۙ‏

Khalaqa Al-'Insāna Min Şalşālin Kālfakhkhāri

He created man from clay like [that of] pottery

١٥

وَخَلَقَ الۡجَآنَّ مِنۡ مَّارِجٍ مِّنۡ نَّارٍۚ‏

Wa Khalaqa Al-Jānna Min Mārijin Min Nārin

And He created the jinn from a smokeless flame of fire

١٦

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

١٧

رَبُّ الۡمَشۡرِقَيۡنِ وَرَبُّ الۡمَغۡرِبَيۡنِۚ‏

Rabbu Al-Mashriqayni Wa Rabbu Al-Maghribayni

[He is] Lord of the two sunrises and Lord of the two sunsets

١٨

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

١٩

مَرَجَ الۡبَحۡرَيۡنِ يَلۡتَقِيٰنِۙ‏

Maraja Al-Baĥrayni Yaltaqiyāni

He released the two seas, meeting [side by side]

٢٠

بَيۡنَهُمَا بَرۡزَخٌ لَّا يَبۡغِيٰنِۚ‏

Baynahumā Barzakhun Lā Yabghiyāni

Between them is a barrier [so] neither of them transgresses

٢١

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٢٢

يَخۡرُجُ مِنۡهُمَا اللُّؤۡلُؤُ وَالۡمَرۡجَانُۚ‏

Yakhruju Minhumā Al-Lu'ulu'uu Wa Al-Marjānu

From both of them emerge pearl and coral

٢٣

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٢٤

وَلَهُ الۡجَوَارِ الۡمُنۡشَاٰتُ فِي الۡبَحۡرِ كَالۡاَعۡلَامِۚ‏

Wa Lahu Al-Jawāri Al-Munsha'ātu Fī Al-Baĥri Kāl'a`lāmi

And to Him belong the ships [with sails] elevated in the sea like mountains

٢٥

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِࣖ‏

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٢٦

كُلُّ مَنۡ عَلَيۡهَا فَانٍۚۖ‏

Kullu Man `Alayhā Fānin

Everyone upon the earth will perish

٢٧

وَّيَبۡقٰي وَجۡهُ رَبِّكَ ذُو الۡجَلٰلِ وَالۡاِكۡرَامِۚ‏

Wa Yabqá Wajhu Rabbika Dhū Al-Jalāli Wa Al-'Ikrāmi

And there will remain the Face of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor

٢٨

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٢٩

يَسۡـَٔلُهٗ مَنۡ فِي السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِؕ كُلَّ يَوۡمٍ هُوَ فِيۡ شَاۡنٍۚ‏

Yas'aluhu Man Fī As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Kulla Yawmin Huwa Fī Sha'nin

Whoever is within the heavens and earth asks Him; every day He is bringing about a matter

٣٠

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٣١

سَنَفۡرُغُ لَكُمۡ اَيُّهَ الثَّقَلٰنِۚ‏

Sanafrughu Lakum 'Ayyuhā Ath-Thaqalāni

We will attend to you, O prominent beings

٣٢

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٣٣

يٰمَعۡشَرَ الۡجِنِّ وَالۡاِنۡسِ اِنِ اسۡتَطَعۡتُمۡ اَنۡ تَنۡفُذُوۡا مِنۡ اَقۡطَارِ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ فَانۡفُذُوۡاؕ لَا تَنۡفُذُوۡنَ اِلَّا بِسُلۡطٰنٍۚ‏

Yā Ma`shara Al-Jinni Wa Al-'Insi 'Ini Astaţa`tum 'An Tanfudhū Min 'Aqţāri As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Fānfudhū Lā Tanfudhūna 'Illā Bisulţānin

O company of jinn and mankind, if you are able to pass beyond the regions of the heavens and the earth, then pass. You will not pass except by authority [from Allah]

٣٤

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٣٥

يُرۡسَلُ عَلَيۡكُمَا شُوَاظٌ مِّنۡ نَّارٍ ࣢ۙ وَّنُحَاسٌ فَلَا تَنۡتَصِرٰنِۚ‏

Yursalu `Alaykumā Shuwāžun Min Nārin Wa Nuĥāsun Falā Tantaşirāni

There will be sent upon you a flame of fire and smoke, and you will not defend yourselves

٣٦

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٣٧

فَاِذَا انۡشَقَّتِ السَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ وَرۡدَةً كَالدِّهَانِۚ‏

Fa'idhā Anshaqqati As-Samā'u Fakānat Wardatan Kālddihāni

And when the heaven is split open and becomes rose-colored like oil

٣٨

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٣٩

فَيَوۡمَئِذٍ لَّا يُسۡـَٔلُ عَنۡ ذَنۭۡ بِهٖ٘ اِنۡسٌ وَّلَا جَآنٌّۚ‏

Fayawma'idhin Lā Yus'alu `An Dhanbihi 'Insun Wa Lā Jānnun

Then on that Day none will be asked about his sin among men or jinn

٤٠

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٤١

يُعۡرَفُ الۡمُجۡرِمُوۡنَ بِسِيۡمٰهُمۡ فَيُؤۡخَذُ بِالنَّوَاصِيۡ وَالۡاَقۡدَامِۚ‏

Yu`rafu Al-Mujrimūna Bisīmāhum Fayu'ukhadhu Bin-Nawāşī Wa Al-'Aqdāmi

The criminals will be known by their marks, and they will be seized by the forelocks and the feet

٤٢

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٤٣

هٰذِهٖ جَهَنَّمُ الَّتِيۡ يُكَذِّبُ بِهَا الۡمُجۡرِمُوۡنَۘ‏

Hadhihi Jahannamu Allatī Yukadhibu Bihā Al-Mujrimūna

This is Hell, which the criminals deny

٤٤

يَطُوۡفُوۡنَ بَيۡنَهَا وَبَيۡنَ حَمِيۡمٍ اٰنٍۚ‏

Yaţūfūna Baynahā Wa Bayna Ĥamīmin 'Ānin

They will go around between it and scalding water, heated [to the utmost degree]

٤٥

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِࣖ‏

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٤٦

وَلِمَنۡ خَافَ مَقَامَ رَبِّهٖ جَنَّتٰنِۚ‏

Wa Liman Khāfa Maqāma Rabbihi Jannatāni

But for he who has feared the position of his Lord are two gardens

٤٧

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۙ‏

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٤٨

ذَوَاتَا٘ اَفۡنَانٍۚ‏

Dhawātā 'Afnānin

Having [spreading] branches

٤٩

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٥٠

فِيۡهِمَا عَيۡنٰنِ تَجۡرِيٰنِۚ‏

Fīhimā `Aynāni Tajriyāni

In both of them are two springs, flowing

٥١

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٥٢

فِيۡهِمَا مِنۡ كُلِّ فَاكِهَةٍ زَوۡجٰنِۚ‏

Fīhimā Min Kulli Fākihatin Zawjāni

In both of them are of every fruit, two kinds

٥٣

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٥٤

مُتَّكِـِٕيۡنَ عَلٰي فُرُشٍۭ بَطَآئِنُهَا مِنۡ اِسۡتَبۡرَقٍؕ وَجَنَا الۡجَنَّتَيۡنِ دَانٍۚ‏

Muttaki'īna `Alá Furushin Baţā'inuhā Min 'Istabraqin Wa Janá Al-Jannatayni Dānin

[They are] reclining on beds whose linings are of silk brocade, and the fruit of the two gardens is hanging low

٥٥

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٥٦

فِيۡهِنَّ قٰصِرٰتُ الطَّرۡفِۙ لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ اِنۡسٌ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنٌّۚ‏

Fīhinna Qāşirātu Aţ-Ţarfi Lam Yaţmithhunna 'Insun Qablahum Wa Lā Jānnun

In them are women limiting [their] glances, untouched before them by man or jinni

٥٧

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٥٨

كَاَنَّهُنَّ الۡيَاقُوۡتُ وَالۡمَرۡجَانُۚ‏

Ka'annahunna Al-Yāqūtu Wa Al-Marjānu

As if they were rubies and coral

٥٩

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٦٠

هَلۡ جَزَآءُ الۡاِحۡسَانِ اِلَّا الۡاِحۡسَانُۚ‏

Hal Jazā'u Al-'Iĥsāni 'Illā Al-'Iĥsānu

Is the reward for good [anything] but good

٦١

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٦٢

وَمِنۡ دُوۡنِهِمَا جَنَّتٰنِۚ‏

Wa Min Dūnihimā Jannatāni

And below them both [in excellence] are two [other] gardens

٦٣

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۙ‏

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٦٤

مُدۡهَآمَّتٰنِۚ‏

Mud/hāmmatāni

Dark green [in color]

٦٥

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ‏

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٦٦

فِيۡهِمَا عَيۡنٰنِ نَضَّاخَتٰنِۚ‏

Fīhimā `Aynāni Nađđākhatāni

In both of them are two springs, spouting

٦٧

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ‏

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٦٨

فِيۡهِمَا فَاكِهَةٌ وَّنَخۡلٌ وَّرُمَّانٌۚ‏

Fīhimā Fākihatun Wa Nakhlun Wa Rummānun

In both of them are fruit and palm trees and pomegranates

٦٩

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِۚ‏

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٧٠

فِيۡهِنَّ خَيۡرٰتٌ حِسَانٌۚ‏

Fīhinna Khayrātun Ĥisānun

In them are good and beautiful women

٧١

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٧٢

حُوۡرٌ مَّقۡصُوۡرٰتٌ فِي الۡخِيَامِۚ‏

Ĥūrun Maqşūrātun Fī Al-Khiyāmi

Fair ones reserved in pavilions

٧٣

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٧٤

لَمۡ يَطۡمِثۡهُنَّ اِنۡسٌ قَبۡلَهُمۡ وَلَا جَآنٌّۚ‏

Lam Yaţmithhunna 'Insun Qablahum Wa Lā Jānnun

Untouched before them by man or jinni

٧٥

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٧٦

مُتَّكِـِٕيۡنَ عَلٰي رَفۡرَفٍ خُضۡرٍ وَّعَبۡقَرِيٍّ حِسَانٍۚ‏

Muttaki'īna `Alá Rafrafin Khuđrin Wa `Abqarīyin Ĥisānin

Reclining on green cushions and beautiful fine carpets

٧٧

فَبِاَيِّ اٰلَآءِ رَبِّكُمَا تُكَذِّبٰنِ

Fabi'ayyi 'Ālā'i Rabbikumā Tukadhibāni

So which of the favors of your Lord would you deny

٧٨

تَبٰرَكَ اسۡمُ رَبِّكَ ذِي الۡجَلٰلِ وَالۡاِكۡرَامِࣖ‏

Tabāraka Asmu Rabbika Dhī Al-Jalāli Wa Al-'Ikrāmi

Blessed is the name of your Lord, Owner of Majesty and Honor

صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ

Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-ʿaẓīm

Allah, the Magnificent, has spoken the truth.
