عَمَّ يَتَسَآءَلُوۡنَۚ
Amma Yatasā'alūna
About what are they asking one another
عَنِ النَّبَاِ الۡعَظِيۡمِۙ
Ani An-Naba'i Al-`Ažīmi
About the great news
الَّذِيۡ هُمۡ فِيۡهِ مُخۡتَلِفُوۡنَؕ
Al-Ladhī Hum Fīhi Mukhtalifūna
That over which they are in disagreement
كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُوۡنَۙ
Kallā Saya`lamūna
No! They are going to know
ثُمَّ كَلَّا سَيَعۡلَمُوۡنَ
Thumma Kallā Saya`lamūna
Then, no! They are going to know
اَلَمۡ نَجۡعَلِ الۡاَرۡضَ مِهٰدًاۙ
Alam Naj`ali Al-'Arđa Mihādāan
Have We not made the earth a resting place
وَّالۡجِبَالَ اَوۡتَادًاۙ
Wa Al-Jibāla 'Awtādāan
And the mountains as stakes
وَّخَلَقۡنٰكُمۡ اَزۡوَاجًاۙ
Wa Khalaqnākum 'Azwājāan
And We created you in pairs
وَّجَعَلۡنَا نَوۡمَكُمۡ سُبَاتًاۙ
Wa Ja`alnā Nawmakum Subātāan
And made your sleep [a means for] rest
وَّجَعَلۡنَا الَّيۡلَ لِبَاسًاۙ
Wa Ja`alnā Al-Layla Libāsāan
And made the night as clothing
وَّجَعَلۡنَا النَّهَارَ مَعَاشًاۚ
Wa Ja`alnā An-Nahāra Ma`āshāan
And made the day for livelihood
وَبَنَيۡنَا فَوۡقَكُمۡ سَبۡعًا شِدَادًاۙ
Wa Banaynā Fawqakum Sab`āan Shidādāan
And constructed above you seven strong [heavens]
وَّجَعَلۡنَا سِرَاجًا وَّهَّاجًاۙ
Wa Ja`alnā Sirājāan Wa Hhājāan
And made [therein] a burning lamp
وَّاَنۡزَلۡنَا مِنَ الۡمُعۡصِرٰتِ مَآءً ثَجَّاجًاۙ
Wa 'Anzalnā Mina Al-Mu`şirāti Mā'an Thajjājāan
And sent down, from the rain clouds, pouring water
لِّنُخۡرِجَ بِهٖ حَبًّا وَّنَبَاتًاۙ
Linukhrija Bihi Ĥabbāan Wa Nabātāan
That We may bring forth thereby grain and vegetation
وَّجَنّٰتٍ اَلۡفَافًاؕ
Wa Jannātin 'Alfāfāan
And gardens of entwined growth
اِنَّ يَوۡمَ الۡفَصۡلِ كَانَ مِيۡقَاتًاۙ
Inna Yawma Al-Faşli Kāna Mīqātāan
Indeed, the Day of Judgement is an appointed time
يَّوۡمَ يُنۡفَخُ فِي الصُّوۡرِ فَتَاۡتُوۡنَ اَفۡوَاجًاۙ
Yawma Yunfakhu Fī Aş-Şūri Fata'tūna 'Afwājāan
The Day the Horn is blown and you will come forth in multitudes
وَّفُتِحَتِ السَّمَآءُ فَكَانَتۡ اَبۡوَابًاۙ
Wa Futiĥati As-Samā'u Fakānat 'Abwābāan
And the heaven is opened and will become gateways
وَّسُيِّرَتِ الۡجِبَالُ فَكَانَتۡ سَرَابًاؕ
Wa Suyyirati Al-Jibālu Fakānat Sarābāan
And the mountains are removed and will be [but] a mirage
اِنَّ جَهَنَّمَ كَانَتۡ مِرۡصَادًاۙ
Inna Jahannama Kānat Mirşādāan
Indeed, Hell has been lying in wait
لِّلطّٰغِيۡنَ مَاٰبًاۙ
Lilţţāghīna Ma'ābāan
For the transgressors, a place of return
لّٰبِثِيۡنَ فِيۡهَا٘ اَحۡقَابًاۚ
Lābithīna Fīhā 'Aĥqābāan
In which they will remain for ages [unending]
لَا يَذُوۡقُوۡنَ فِيۡهَا بَرۡدًا وَّلَا شَرَابًاۙ
Lā Yadhūqūna Fīhā Bardāan Wa Lā Sharābāan
They will not taste therein [any] coolness or drink
اِلَّا حَمِيۡمًا وَّغَسَّاقًاۙ
Illā Ĥamīmāan Wa Ghassāqāan
Except scalding water and [foul] purulence
جَزَآءً وِّفَاقًاؕ
Jazā'an Wifāqāan
An appropriate recompense
اِنَّهُمۡ كَانُوۡا لَا يَرۡجُوۡنَ حِسَابًاۙ
Innahum Kānū Lā Yarjūna Ĥisābāan
Indeed, they were not expecting an account
وَّكَذَّبُوۡا بِاٰيٰتِنَا كِذَّابًاؕ
Wa Kadhabū Bi'āyātinā Kidhābāan
And denied Our verses with [emphatic] denial
وَكُلَّ شَيۡءٍ اَحۡصَيۡنٰهُ كِتٰبًاۙ
Wa Kulla Shay'in 'Aĥşaynāhu Kitābāan
But all things We have enumerated in writing
فَذُوۡقُوۡا فَلَنۡ نَّزِيۡدَكُمۡ اِلَّا عَذَابًاࣖ
Fadhūqū Falan Nazīdakum 'Illā `Adhābāan
So taste [the penalty], and never will We increase you except in torment
اِنَّ لِلۡمُتَّقِيۡنَ مَفَازًاۙ
Inna Lilmuttaqīna Mafāzāan
Indeed, for the righteous is attainment
حَدَآئِقَ وَاَعۡنَابًاۙ
Ĥadā'iqa Wa 'A`nābāan
Gardens and grapevines
وَّكَوَاعِبَ اَتۡرَابًاۙ
Wa Kawā`iba 'Atrābāan
And full-breasted [companions] of equal age
وَّكَاۡسًا دِهَاقًاؕ
Wa Ka'sāan Dihāqāan
And a full cup
لَا يَسۡمَعُوۡنَ فِيۡهَا لَغۡوًا وَّلَا كِذّٰبًاۚۖ
Lā Yasma`ūna Fīhā Laghwan Wa Lā Kidhābāan
No ill speech will they hear therein or any falsehood
جَزَآءً مِّنۡ رَّبِّكَ عَطَآءً حِسَابًاۙ
Jazā'an Min Rabbika `Aţā'an Ĥisābāan
[As] reward from your Lord, [a generous] gift [made due by] account
رَّبِّ السَّمٰوٰتِ وَالۡاَرۡضِ وَمَا بَيۡنَهُمَا الرَّحۡمٰنِ لَا يَمۡلِكُوۡنَ مِنۡهُ خِطَابًاۚ
Rabbi As-Samāwāti Wa Al-'Arđi Wa Mā Baynahumā Ar-Raĥmāni Lā Yamlikūna Minhu Khiţābāan
[From] the Lord of the heavens and the earth and whatever is between them, the Most Merciful. They possess not from Him [authority for] speech
يَوۡمَ يَقُوۡمُ الرُّوۡحُ وَالۡمَلٰٓئِكَةُ صَفًّاؕࣗۙ لَّا يَتَكَلَّمُوۡنَ اِلَّا مَنۡ اَذِنَ لَهُ الرَّحۡمٰنُ وَقَالَ صَوَابًا
Yawma Yaqūmu Ar-Rūĥu Wa Al-Malā'ikatu Şaffāan Lā Yatakallamūna 'Illā Man 'Adhina Lahu Ar-Raĥmānu Wa Qāla Şawābāan
The Day that the Spirit and the angels will stand in rows, they will not speak except for one whom the Most Merciful permits, and he will say what is correct
ذٰلِكَ الۡيَوۡمُ الۡحَقُّۚ فَمَنۡ شَآءَ اتَّخَذَ اِلٰي رَبِّهٖ مَاٰبًا
Dhālika Al-Yawmu Al-Ĥaqqu Faman Shā'a Attakhadha 'Ilá Rabbihi Ma'ābāan
That is the True Day; so he who wills may take to his Lord a [way of] return
اِنَّا٘ اَنۡذَرۡنٰكُمۡ عَذَابًا قَرِيۡبًا ۚۖ يَّوۡمَ يَنۡظُرُ الۡمَرۡءُ مَا قَدَّمَتۡ يَدٰهُ وَيَقُوۡلُ الۡكَافِرُ يٰلَيۡتَنِيۡ كُنۡتُ تُرٰبًاࣖ
Innā 'Andharnākum `Adhābāan Qarībāan Yawma Yanžuru Al-Mar'u Mā Qaddamat Yadāhu Wa Yaqūlu Al-Kāfiru Yā Laytanī Kuntu Turābāan
Indeed, We have warned you of a near punishment on the Day when a man will observe what his hands have put forth and the disbeliever will say, "Oh, I wish that I were dust
صَدَقَ ٱللَّهُ ٱلْعَظِيمُ
Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-ʿaẓīm
Allah, the Magnificent, has spoken the truth.
