اَرَءَيۡتَ الَّذِيۡ يُكَذِّبُ بِالدِّيۡنِؕ‏

Ara'ayta Al-Ladhī Yukadhibu Bid-Dīni

Have you seen the one who denies the Recompense

فَذٰلِكَ الَّذِيۡ يَدُعُّ الۡيَتِيۡمَۙ‏

Fadhālika Al-Ladhī Yadu``u Al-Yatīma

For that is the one who drives away the orphan

وَلَا يَحُضُّ عَلٰي طَعَامِ الۡمِسۡكِيۡنِؕ‏

Wa Lā Yaĥuđđu `Alá Ţa`āmi Al-Miskīni

And does not encourage the feeding of the poor

فَوَيۡلٌ لِّلۡمُصَلِّيۡنَۙ‏

Fawaylun Lilmuşallīna

So woe to those who pray

الَّذِيۡنَ هُمۡ عَنۡ صَلَاتِهِمۡ سَاهُوۡنَۙ‏

Al-Ladhīna Hum `An Şalātihim Sāhūna

[But] who are heedless of their prayer

الَّذِيۡنَ هُمۡ يُرَآءُوۡنَۙ‏

Al-Ladhīna Hum Yurā'ūna

Those who make show [of their deeds]

وَيَمۡنَعُوۡنَ الۡمَاعُوۡنَࣖ‏

Wa Yamna`ūna Al-Mā`ūna

And withhold [simple] assistance
