وَيۡلٌ لِّكُلِّ هُمَزَةٍ لُّمَزَةِۙ‏

Waylun Likulli Humazatin Lumazahin

Woe to every scorner and mocker

اِۨلَّذِيۡ جَمَعَ مَالًا وَّعَدَّدَهٗۙ‏

Al-Ladhī Jama`a Mālāan Wa `Addadahu

Who collects wealth and [continuously] counts it

يَحۡسَبُ اَنَّ مَالَهٗ٘ اَخۡلَدَهٗۚ‏

Yaĥsabu 'Anna Mālahu 'Akhladahu

He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal

كَلَّا لَيُنۭۡ بَذَنَّ فِي الۡحُطَمَةِؗۖ‏

Kallā Layunbadhanna Fī Al-Ĥuţamahi

No! He will surely be thrown into the Crusher

وَمَا٘ اَدۡرٰىكَ مَا الۡحُطَمَةُؕ‏

Wa Mā 'Adrāka Mā Al-Ĥuţamahu

And what can make you know what is the Crusher

نَارُ اللّٰهِ الۡمُوۡقَدَةُۙ‏

Nāru Allāhi Al-Mūqadahu

It is the fire of Allah, [eternally] fueled

الَّتِيۡ تَطَّلِعُ عَلَي الۡاَفۡـِٕدَةِؕ‏

Allatī Taţţali`u `Alá Al-'Af'idahi

Which mounts directed at the hearts

اِنَّهَا عَلَيۡهِمۡ مُّؤۡصَدَةٌۙ‏

Innahā `Alayhim Mu'uşadahun

Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them

فِيۡ عَمَدٍ مُّمَدَّدَةٍࣖ‏

Fī `Amadin Mumaddadahin
