Sabbiĥi Asma Rabbika Al-'A`lá
Exalt the name of your Lord, the Most High
Al-Ladhī Khalaqa Fasawwá
Who created and proportioned
Wa Al-Ladhī Qaddara Fahadá
And who destined and [then] guided
Wa Al-Ladhī 'Akhraja Al-Mar`á
And who brings out the pasture
Faja`alahu Ghuthā'an 'Aĥwá
And [then] makes it black stubble
Sanuqri'uka Falā Tansá
We will make you recite, [O Muhammad], and you will not forget
Illā Mā Shā'a Allāhu 'Innahu Ya`lamu Al-Jahra Wa Mā Yakhfá
Except what Allah should will. Indeed, He knows what is declared and what is hidden
Wa Nuyassiruka Lilyusrá
And We will ease you toward ease
Fadhakkir 'In Nafa`ati Adh-Dhikrá
So remind, if the reminder should benefit
Sayadhakkaru Man Yakhshá
He who fears [Allah] will be reminded
Wa Yatajannabuhā Al-'Ashqá
But the wretched one will avoid it
Al-Ladhī Yaşlá An-Nāra Al-Kubrá
[He] who will [enter and] burn in the greatest Fire
Thumma Lā Yamūtu Fīhā Wa Lā Yaĥyā
Neither dying therein nor living
Qad 'Aflaĥa Man Tazakká
He has certainly succeeded who purifies himself
Wa Dhakara Asma Rabbihi Faşallá
And mentions the name of his Lord and prays
Bal Tu'uthirūna Al-Ĥayāata Ad-Dunyā
But you prefer the worldly life
Wa Al-'Ākhiratu Khayrun Wa 'Abqá
While the Hereafter is better and more enduring
Inna Hādhā Lafī Aş-Şuĥufi Al-'Ūlá
Indeed, this is in the former scriptures
Şuĥufi 'Ibrāhīma Wa Mūsá
The scriptures of Abraham and Moses
Ṣadaqa Llāhu l-ʿaẓīm
Allah, the Magnificent, has spoken the truth.
